Priority 1
Commitment to Christian Education and Community: Promoting a worldview underpinned by the whole counsel of scripture and in all representations of the school within the North Canterbury community and beyond.
1.1 To have the Christian educational philosophy of the school reflected through curriculum and across the life of the school.
1.2 To have staff and students develop a Christ-centred personal spirituality
1.3 To promote and resource service and mission programmes locally, regionally, and internationally
1.4 To enrich the participation and spiritual vitality of the school community
Priority 2
Excellence in Educational Leadership and Teaching: Focusing on what matters most: strong curriculum design, effective and engaging teaching in the classroom informed by sound assessment evidence, and increased distributed leadership.
2.1 To deepen pedagogical understanding and practices
2.2 To provide an affirming and professional working environment for all staff
2.3 To further develop effective leadership practices across all staff

Maximised Outcomes for Students: Working to ensure that all our students in all their diversity have every opportunity for quality learning and personal growth in an encouraging and safe environment.
3.1 To further develop and implement the school’s new curriculum that meets the needs of 21st Century learners
3.2 To further enhance academic performance by our secondary pupils participating in the national qualification framework
3.3 To further enhance the delivery of learning in English and Mathematics across the school
3.4 To further improve the learning outcomes for our Maori students
3.5 To give students opportunity to develop leadership skill and practice across a range of school areas
3.6 To provide learning environments which are physically and emotionally safe marked by mutual respect and no bullying

Smart School Organization: Having a school that is operationally sound and run the school in a business like way in terms of communications, systems, technologies, resources, facilities, and the identifying and managing of opportunities for school growth.
4.1 To effectively communicate and promote with stakeholders and the wider community about our school
4.2 To identify and manage opportunities for steady school growth
4.3 To secure, deploy, and manage financial resources carefully for future success
4.4 To develop facilities and environs in order to meet roll growth to 420 by the end of 2013 and 530 by the end of 2017
