Primary Curriculum
Pupils from Years 1 to 8 at New Life study the full New Zealand Curriculum while utilising the Interactmaterial developed by former Christian School Principal Helen Pearson. Helen has included all the latest teaching approaches including a unique Christian inquiry, (pupil discovery,) approach.

Interact begins each unit viewing God as the centre and teaches from a Biblical perspective. All units fully cover the NZ National Curriculum and have been endorsed by the Education Review Office:
"This high-quality curriculum contextualises the learning areas of the national curriculum...
It also provides teachers with a sound basis for developing detailed curriculum plans and learning programmes. "
We are confident that your child will receive a high quality Christian education, and will have ample opportunity to explore areas of science, health and social studies in addition to the essential core subjects English and Mathematics, gaining a firm knowledge of the world, and being able to successfully engage with it from a Scriptural viewpoint.
