Strategic PlanStrategic Priority 1To have a school that is biblically based and Christ centred; a Christian witness within the North Canterbury community and beyond. 1.1 Ensure that all aspects of school governance, leadership, management and teaching/learning are consistent with a biblical Christian worldview.1.2 Promote and resource mission programmes in local, regional, national and overseas settings. 1.3 To be a leading school within the educational community of North Canterbury. Strategic Priority 2To identify and manage opportunities for school growth, increasing the numbers at all levels of the school. 2.1 To substantially raise the New Entrant intake. Strategic Priority 3 To provide quality Christian education through enhanced resourcing including 3.1 Significantly increase academic performance by our secondary pupils participating in national qualification framework. Strategic Priority 4To provide a safe, stimulating learning environment and programmes meeting the needs of a diverse range of learners. 4.1 Develop a school environment in which pupils with special learning requirements, and/or disabilities, are fully integrated and catered for. Strategic Priority 5To foster a school environment in which all staff are able to carry out their call and tasks with professionalism and high degree of skill.5.1 To ensure that all teaching staff are professional in their conduct, curriculum knowledge and delivery and management consistent with the special Christian character. Strategic Priority 6To provide quality resources and facilities for the undertaking of quality and effective delivery of Christian education. 6.1 Enhancing the school facilities so as to provide suitable, well resourced, teaching spaces and environs that are beautiful and stimulating to learning and play. Strategic Priority 7To build a high degree of community involvement and support marked by partnership and service. 7.1 Provide ways in which the community can meet together for information sharing, fellowship and celebration. |
