CantaTech
Cantatech is a cluster of 14 Area and Secondary schools in the South Island of New Zealand. These schools share teachers on-line to enable them to offer their students a broader range of subjects at a senior level. Students are also able to take subjects offered by other providers in New Zealand. Eg: Aorakinet
Students who enrol for a CantaTech course will attend two on-line lessons each week via Video Conference. They will be required to do independent study during the week to complete all other work required for the subject. For these periods they will be timetabled into other classrooms.

Every year the subjects offered are determined by student demand and teacher availability. Subjects offered may include;
Level 1: Human Biology, German, Japanese
Level 2: Accounting, History,
Level 3: Accounting, Agriculture, Chemistry, Classics, Economics, French, German, Graphics, History, Media Studies
